Should we be ashamed?
Should we be ashamed of being different? Not having what others have. Not living how others live or practicing what they do? I mean you’re different, most likely an outcast, should you be ashamed of standing out?
Should we be ashamed of our backgrounds? As much as it is an involuntarily feeling, it is voluntary, for as long as we allow it to linger in our thoughts for longer. Shame is a state of mind.
Should we be ashamed of doing the right thing? Having or doing what you have, in that place and time, might have saved you from a lot. It might seem shameful but maybe, just maybe, it has spared you life at some point, to some extent, you won’t see it, but you will, eventually, somebody will, eventually. God, saw it from the start, better yet, before you did it.
All that we’re ahsamed of is a part of us, it made us and protects us. We should learn to embrace being different and celebrate our uniqueness. We shouldn’t be ashamed of doing the right thing. We shouldnt be ahsamed of where we come from, where we’ve been or our backgrounds We shouldn’t be ashamed of anything at all. We shouldn’t be ashamed of serving God.
