When can you say it wasn’t meant to happen

If it happens, it was meant to happen.
If it doesn’t happen, it wasn’t.
So if it hasn’t happened, does it mean it still wasn’t meant to happen?
Or is it waiting for you to make it happen?

At what point can we say say it wasn’t meant to happen?
At what point do we say, it wasn’t meant to happen, when we have only tried once?

It’s safe to say it wasn’t meant to happen when you tried to make it happen, but it didn’t happen.
Should we give up after the first attempt?
Or should we keep on hoping things will change?

Well, we can just say, it depends.
It depends on what it is that you’re talking about.
Was it once-off, once in a lifetime or recurring?
Was it a moment or based on someone’s decision?

We can agree that we shouldn’t force things to happen.
Another thing to remember is, the things that are under our control and what’s the universe’s.
We just have to find the difference!

Maybe it was waiting for you to make it make it happen, but you didn’t happen so it didn’t happen.
You can’t say it wasn’t meant to happen if you tried once.
You can’t say you tried to make it happen, if you, yourself are not satisfied with your own efforts.
The moment you know it wasn’t enough and the moment you think of another thing to do to make it happen, well, I hope you can see there’s still a chance of it happening.

The only time we’ll be certain it wasn’t meant to happen, is when we die.
So, it’s never too late until we die, coz there’s still a chance to try again, and again and again, until we die.
